Join our 3-city trip to discover the state of Guanajuato, Mexico and the Birthplace of Mexican Independence. This trip offers cultural exploration, relaxation, shopping excursions, delicious food and stargazing at one of our favorite wineries in the world!

Each excursion has a maximum capacity of 14 guests.
Day One: ¡Bienvenidos!
Consider this first day your travel day!
Upon arrival, you will be met at the airport by LoveGuanajuato.com representatives and transported to our hotel. After you have settled in to our home for the next two nights, all of the travelers will convene for an evening of introductions over dinner and drinks on a terrace overlooking the Jardín Union.

Day Two: Historic Guanajuato City
Guanajuato was named a United Nations (UNESCO) World Heritage site as a result of all of the cultural history in this region known as the “Birthplace of Mexican Independence”. We will do a walking tour of Guanajuato City, including stops such as the famous Jardin Unión, Pipila Monument, Alhondigas de Granitas, Mercado Hildago. Along the way we will enjoy secret “street eats” including tlacoyos, aguas frescas, carnitas, and nieve.

Day Three: Birthplace of Independence--Dolores Hildago
After breakfast, our private driver will take us to the famed town of Dolores Hildago. This town is where priest Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla gave the grito (shout) for freedom that launched Mexico’s war for independence against colonial Spain. Here we will visit the Jardin Unión to visit the Museum of Independence, try the unique ice cream flavors that make this place famous, and shop for Mexican ceramics called talaveras. Next we'll take a private tour of an unsuspecting vineyard, followed by a 5-course dinner with wine pairings. There will be stargazing for dessert.

Day Four: ¡Hola! and Hello!
We start the day in San Miguel de Allende, a town known for the arts, spas, and a large American, Canadian, and European expat community. As a result, you'll hear both holas and hellos in this friendly community.
After having time to sleep in, we will start with an late morning walking food tour of San Miguel de Allende. The tour will feature some of the best eats and diverse cuisines and drinks in town with at least 8 stops at local restaurants and cantinas.

Afterwards, our guests will have time to do a little shopping for souvenirs in blocks-long Artisan Corridor to find handmade crafts, fabrics, silver jewelry, and Mexican art. After returning to the Jardin Unión, guests have free time to explore before reuniting for dinner.

Day Five: ¡Adios!
We spend our last morning together as a group over breakfast before heading home with great memories and new friendships.

There are 3 options for booking that are based on whether you are traveling alone or if you will be sharing a room.

Single Occupancy:
This booking is for one guest in one king-sized bed suite. Per-person price covers total trip fees for one person

Cost per person: $1,800

Double Occupancy: 1 King Sized Bed or Two Queen Size Beds
This booking is for two guests who will share one suite with either 1 King-sized bed or 2 Queen-sized beds. There are a limited number (3) of rooms available with 2 queen beds which are available upon request and on a first come, first served basis. Per-person price covers total trip fees for one person.
